On July 11, All France Rugby Club was invited to join the Bastille Day celebrations at the French Embassy in Tokyo, alongside many other associations from the French community in Japan.
It was a great opportunity to introduce AFRC to visitors and show that the club is about much more than what happens on the rugby pitch.
Throughout the day, we welcomed people at our stand, talked rugby, shared stories about the club and invited visitors of all ages to try their hand at a small passing challenge.

And because rugby culture is never very far from good food, we also brought along some homemade pâté to share — a small taste of the traditional rugby spirit we like to bring with us wherever we go.
We were especially pleased to welcome France’s Ambassador to Japan at the AFRC stand during the event.
A very enjoyable day surrounded by associations, families and members of the French community in Tokyo — and another chance for AFRC to share its mix of rugby, French culture and conviviality.
