Recently, members of the All France Rugby Club organized an introduction to rugby session for children from the French scout troop in Tokyo.

The objective was simple: introduce the values of rugby through fun, teamwork, and movement.

Throughout the afternoon, the children discovered passing drills, small games, tag rugby situations, and their very first “lineout lifts” — always in a safe and playful environment. For many of them, it was their first contact with rugby.

Beyond the sport itself, these moments are important to us because rugby can teach much more than rules and techniques. It encourages communication, trust, solidarity, and respect for others.

Seeing the kids helping each other, laughing together, and gaining confidence during the session perfectly reflected the spirit we try to build around the club.

A big thank you to the French scout troop for their energy and enthusiasm, and to all the club members who volunteered their time to make this day possible.
