ALL FRANCE raised JPY 100,000 in favour of the victims of the TOHOKU earthquakeSamedi 14 mai 2011
C’etait une priorite que nous avait donnee notre President Matthieu ROSENBERG apres le tremblement de terre et le tsunami qui avaient frappe le nord est du Japon: Parvenir a recolter des fonds pour venir en aide aux victimes de cette catastrophe a travers un evenement particulier.
It was a priority set up by our President Matthieu ROSENBERG to organize a humanitarian event to raise money in favour of the victims of the TOHOKU eathquake.
Le Comite Executif du ALL FRANCE et plus particulierement, Jean Philippe ENDRES et Damien MARTY se sont pleinement investis dans cette tache et ont vite considere que le tournoi de Petanque, co-organise avec l’Association des Francais du Japon (AFJ) etait cet evenement dont nous avions besoin pour tous nous reunir.
The ALL FRANCE Rugby Club Exco decided to co-organize with the French Society in Japan (AFJ) a bowl tournament of which the proceeds will be given to organizations involved in the relief of this terrible disaster. Jean Philippe ENDRES and Damien MARTY were more particularly involved in this task and achieved an excellent work.
Ce tournoi eut lieu samedi 14 mars a Kiba Koen et a rassemble 16 equipes de 2 joueurs. Damien MARTY a assure la direction du tournoi, cependant qu’Olivier LIGIBEL et l’equipe de l’AFJ se chargeait de l’intendance. l’AFRC obtint le soutien logistique de notre sponsor IKON Europubs / Biervana bar Akasaka (www.biervana.com) qui nous fournit en bieres BECKS et San MIGUEL, glaciere et tente.
The event was held last Saturday 14th May at Kiba Koen and 16 teams of 2 players competed during that sunny day. damien MARTY was the director of the Tournament and our Sponsor: Ikon Europubs / Biervana Bar Akasaka (www.biervana.com) provided us Backs and San Miguel beers, ice and tent.
Le ALL FRANCE fut bien represente avec 9 joueurs: Alexandre MIROUX, Damien MARTY, Nicolas TANSEAU, Matthieu ROSENBERG, Laurent SERENA, Matthieu LUCAS, Toru HIGASHI, Kousuke YAMAMOTO et Bruno LEROY (voir photo ci-jointe).
The AFRC was well represented with 9 players who came on that special day: Alexandre MIROUX, Damien MARTY, Nicolas TANSEAU, Matthieu ROSENBERG, Laurent SERENA, Matthieu LUCAS, Toru HIGASHI, Kousuke YAMAMOTO et Bruno LEROY (voir photo ci-jointe).
A tour de role, nous avons tenu la buvette et nous vendimes ainsi pres de 100 bieres au cours de la journee.
We sold roughly 100 bers during the day.
Nous participames aussi joyeusement au tournoi avec les doublettes suivantes: Alexandre MIROUX-Matthieu ROSENBERG; Nicolas TANSEAU-Matthieu LUCAS; Toru HIGASHI-Kousuke YAMAMOTO et finalement Laurent SERENA et Bruno LEROY. Il est a noter et j’en suis fier que l’equipe Laurent SERENA et Bruno
The ALL FRANCE engaged 4 teams of which Toru HIGASHI pairing with Kousuke YAMAMOTO for their first ever experience playing French bowl game called Petanque.
A la fin de cette journee ensoleillee, nous demontrames a tous que le AFRC n’etait pas simplement se retrouver sur un terrain de rugby et partir sitot le coup de sifflet final donne mais aussi une grande famille.
At the end of the day, everyone of us was happy and succeeded well in demonstrating that the AFRC is a great family.
Par la meme, nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que les prochaines echeances festives se derouleront a l’issue de la derniere journee de la AFRC league Cup, le dimanche 29 mai lors d’un Barbecue arrose de nombreuses bieres en compagnie des Mocossus, des No side et des Dandellions.

Please, note that the next AFRC party will be held at the end of the last fixture day of the ALL FRANCE Rugby Cup League on Sunday 29 May. it will be a barbecue shared with the other teams playing in the league and with the presentation of the cup to the winner of the tournament.
