Hello everyone, Hope you enjoyed the long week-end. We had very good weather to practice at ARIAKE on Saturday. Real shame that it was only 7 of us. We need at least to double that figure for training on coming SUNDAY!
Couple of announcements for this week:
1- BONENKAI
– The last game of SHUTO is on Dec. 16. Many of you will then go on Christmas holidays (if not before Dec.16).
– There will be no AFRC BONENKAI this year :o(
– Instead we will have a SHINENKAI (new year party) :o)
– The date of the SHINENKAI will be confirmed in the coming few weeks (likely Saturday 12 January for late lunch/ BBQ). Keep posted.
2- Looking for Christmas presents ideas?
– We still have 20 pink polos (manufactured for the AFRC 25 birthday). See attached picture
– This can make a nice present to your family members and friends and it also helps supporting the club.
– Discount price is 2,500 JPY/polo. First come, first serve basis. Contact me by email.
3- Membership fee
– All France Rugby Club has a certain number of expenses to deal with (Shuto League: 90,000 JPY/season, Referees: 4,000 JPY/game, Oztag: 10,000 JPY, ground fees, etc)
– While we are actively trying to find new sponsors and cover these expenses through events and sales of goodies, it is also important to have a player membership.
– This season, for all players who have participated in a minimum of two games we will ask and start collecting membership fee of 2,000 YEN/player. If you have already played in two games, then please be upfront and give me 2,000 JPY to me next time we meet. You can also give the money to anyone from the Executive Committee (Erwan, Dan, Kosuke, Sayo, Charlie, Damien, Bruno, Alex or I). Thanks in advance.
4- This week schedule:
– Thursday 29 Nov (7pm-9pm): weekly training at USHIGOME.
– Sunday 2 Dec (9.30am-12pm): Compulsory team training at ARIAKE. We have the last game of the SHUTO League on Dec. 16, so please try your best effort to come on Sunday. (especially if you are coming on Dec. 16 game). So far we are 10 according to TEAMSNAP: Damien, Dan, Fredrik, Hisa, Lolo, Romain D., Romain L., Quentin, Charlie, JP
