The Club

The oldest foreign rugby club in Japan.

All France Rugby Club (AFRC) is a friendly rugby team in Tokyo, open to every nationality, level, shape, size, and IQ. Founded in 1987, AFRC is the oldest foreign rugby club in Japan, and we are proud of our long history.

Our mission is to keep French spirit alive in Japan: on the pitch, in the clubhouse, and wherever the third half takes us.

How We Play Rugby

Champagne rugby. French flair. Total movement.

We play ambitious rugby: alive, instinctive, and unapologetically attacking.

The ball moves before the defence settles. Support arrives from everywhere. Structure matters but freedom matters more.

If one hand is free, the ball lives.
If there is space, we find it.
If there is none, we create it.

The Third Half

The soul of rugby begins after the whistle.

The game does not end with the final score.

After the tackles, tries, mistakes, and heroic bad decisions, we gather to eat, drink, laugh, and turn teammates into friends.

At AFRC, the third half is not a tradition on the side.
It is part of the culture.
