Mud, Beer and BBQ
All France Rugby Club went to Hakuba on the weekend of the 25th/7 to play in the glorious rice fields of Hakuba.
The Rugby tambo day is an event organized every year by Hakuba’s Baird Beer taproom. The rules are simple:
4 players by team
Touch rugby
2 points if you dive in the mud when you score a try
1 point for a regular try
2 points if a girl scores a try
AFRC made it to the finals but unfortunately lost after an epic muddy fight.
After that we had a lovely BBQ at Hakuba’s taproom during which we taught our British and Irish opponents the ancient art of paquito (slamming on people sitting on the ground). Even a cute toddler gave it a try!
We then partied until dawn after enjoying Hakuba’s amazing bar network!
